This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (e.g. browser local storage) are used on u-tronix.com, why, and how you can manage your choices. The Turkish version is the authoritative text.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a site. They can be used to run the site, keep it secure, remember your preferences or measure usage. Similar technologies such as local storage serve the same purposes.
2. Categories and our consent principle
- Necessary: needed for the site to work, for security and to remember your choices; no consent is required and they cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: measure site usage anonymously. They run only with your consent.
- Marketing: for advertising and retargeting. They run only with your consent.
- We currently use no analytics or marketing cookies. If we start to, we will update this page and ask for your consent.
3. Cookies and similar technologies we use
- utronix_consent (Necessary, first-party cookie + local storage) — remembers your cookie choice. Duration: 180 days.
- theme (Necessary, local storage) — remembers your light/dark theme. Duration: until you delete it.
- Google reCAPTCHA (Necessary/security, third party: google.com) — protects forms against automated submissions. Loaded when you focus on a form field; Google may set its own cookies (e.g. _GRECAPTCHA).
- YouTube (third party: youtube-nocookie.com) — the intro video loads only when you press play; no request is made to YouTube on page load.
- Google Maps (third party) — the map on the contact page loads only when it comes into view.
4. Managing your preferences
In the cookie panel shown on your first visit you can choose “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” or “Customise preferences”. Rejecting does not stop you from using the site.
To change or withdraw your decision at any time use the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of the page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; your preferences (e.g. theme) may then not be remembered.
5. Legal basis
Necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in providing the service and keeping it secure (KVKK Art. 5/2-f). Non-necessary cookies are used only with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). For visitors in the European Economic Area, GDPR and ePrivacy principles are respected.
